It’s early in the 2018 fall camp, and as the Arizona Football team practices in shorts, shirts and helmets for now, it’s tough for coaches to gauge what they have until the pads come on.
So far, quarterback coach and offensive coordinator Noel Mazzone has been pleased with what he’s seen. In his post-practice interview yesterday, the Arizona Daily Star was able to capture Mazzone’s high praise for his young signal callers, however, we must note it is still early.
Additionally, it appears Khalil Tate has made great strides in the off-season, and actually comes into fall camp a bit further along than Mazzone expected.
