Victor Viramontes, an athlete out of Norco High School in Southern California, was formerly committed to head coach Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines at Michigan, before deciding to re-open his recruitment.
Ever since the addition of new defensive coaches Marcel Yates, and Donte’ Williams, Arizona has been aggressive in recruiting guys for the defense. Viramontes just happens to be one of those guys.
Listed as the 34th overall Dual-Threat quarterback (according to Scout.com), you’d think with the offer from the quarterback-collecting Rich Rodriguez, he would be eyeing yet another potential signal caller for his potent spread offense.
