Despite being arrested Wednesday for his involvement in a domestic violence incident, Arizona Wildcats safety Scottie Young Jr. is participating in all team activities, head coach Rich Rodriguez said Monday at his weekly presser.
“We’ve consulted with all the appropriate authorities, including the Dean of Students,” Rodriguez explained of Young’s status.
UAPD documents released Thursday say Young is facing one charge of misdemeanor assault/knowingly causing injury.
The police report detailing the incident can be found here.
While the accuser and other witnesses had a much different story than Young, Young admitted to grabbing his girlfriend’s wrist and spitting on her, according to the report.
