BURBANK, Calif. — Rich Rodriguez has always had a creative way of naming his starting quarterback.
In 2013, he never told B.J. Denker the job was his and just sent him out for the first snap against NAU.
Last year, he oddly worked into his first news conference of the season that Anu Solomon was going to be his guy.
This year? Well, Rodriguez once again did it his way.
Although it was already a near given that Solomon was going to be his starter, Rodriguez confirmed it Friday at Pac-12 media days at Warner Bros.
