Heading into season, Arizona Football hasn’t quite had the same hype thus far like they did in 2018. In an otherwise quiet off-season, the Wildcats seem to be flying under the radar and perhaps that’s a good thing!
However, as we head into 2019, there is at least a little buzz around the program, with a few Wildcats landing on some prestigious, preseason award watch lists.
So far, the players gaining the much deserved attention for 2019 are; Colin Schooler (Bednarik and Butkus), J.J. Taylor (Maxwell Award and Doak Walker Award), Khalil Tate (Maxwell Award and O’Brien Award), Tony Fields II (Butkus Award), Josh McCauley (Rimington Award) and Bryce Wolma (Mackey Award).
