TUCSON, AZ – For the first time in nearly 90 years, the Arizona Football team (0-3, 0-0) loses to the NAU Lumberjacks by a 21-19 final.
It was a day many had anticipated that Arizona Football would finally get over the hump. After being losers in 14-straight games, the Wildcats were supposed to win against the lowly NAU Lumberjacks, especially as they entered the game as the 24-point favorites.
However, after committing seven penalties for 126 yards, and turning the ball over three times, the Wildcats lost in shocking fashion to NAU, falling for the first time in over 85 years by a 21-19 final.
