Still months from the start of the 2018 season and the Arizona Football team is continuing their recruiting momentum. On Friday, the Wildcats gained their eighth commitment from So Cal receiver, Jalen Johnson.
The three-star receiver from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Corona, CA decided to shut down his recruitment yesterday, announcing his commitment via social media.
Johnson picked Arizona, despite having offers from Utah, Oregon State and Colorado State among others. It seems the relationship he has with current coaches Demetrice Martin, Taylor Mazzone and Kevin Sumlin are what ultimately paid off.
As we said he becomes the eighth commit in the class of 2019, and will join current commits Grant Gunnell, Kwabena Watson, Kane Bradford, Michael Wiley, Jordan Morgan, Derrion Clark and Kyle Ostendorp.
