We’re nearly a month away from the start of Arizona Football, and the Wildcats have now secured their ninth commitment in the class of 2019. Meet Maurice Gaines Jr., the defensive back from St. Thomas More Prep in Oakdale, CT.
Gaines who originally hails from Sacramento, CA played for Capital Christian High School last year, has since transferred. Instead, the senior-to-be will play his final year of high school ball in Connecticut.
Just before the start of final season, Gaines felt he was ready to make his college announcement, announcing yesterday that he would be committing on July 28.
