Arizona secured the seventh 9-win season in school history on Saturday with the blowout win at ASU, and now it has a ranking to match the last year it had as many victories.
The Wildcats moved up two spots in the latest Associated Press Top 25, to No. 14, after the 59-23 win over the Sun Devils to retain the Territorial Cup. It is their highest ranking since being 12th in December 2014 after playing in the Pac-12 title game.
The UA (9-3, 7-2) finished third in the final year of the Pac-12, its best placement since being South Division champions in 2014.
