For the first time in nearly two months, the Arizona Wildcats have secured a commitment for the 2016 recruiting class.
Isaiah Hayes, a three-star defensive back from Calabasas, California, committed to the Wildcats on Wednesday afternoon. Hayes is a former Boise State commit, who also had offers from Oklahoma, Pittsburgh, Wisconsin, Utah and others.
Hayes is the first player to commit to Arizona since Georgia high school running back Russell Halimon pledged to the Wildcats on April 17.
The defensive back is the sixth commitment for 2016 for the Wildcats and the fourth California high school product.
