The Arizona Wildcats announced Thursday that they have extended men’s tennis head coach Clancy Shields through the 2026 season.
Shields was named the Pac-12 Coach of the Year for the second straight season and led Arizona to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances for the first time since 2010.
This year, that included a trip to the program’s first-ever Sweet Sixteen. The Wildcats finished with a program-record 21 wins and finished second in the Pac-12, the best finish in program history.
TennisRecruiting.net ranks Arizona’s incoming recruiting class just outside the Top 25.
