The Arizona women’s basketball team is getting set to make its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2005 and the UA is making sure there are many more to come.
The school announced Thursday that it has extended head coach Adia Barnes through the 2025-26 season, pending approval from the Arizona Board of Regents.
“We are thrilled that Adia will lead our women’s basketball program for years to come,” UA athletic director Dave Heeke said in a statement. “Adia has built a nationally-prominent program in a short amount of time that achieves excellence on the court, in the classroom and in the community.
