The Arizona Wildcats’ 27-point loss to Stanford only dropped them one spot in the AP Top 25, now checking in at No. 7 after spending multiple weeks at No. 6, the highest ranking in program history.
Arizona bounced back from the 81-54 loss to the Cardinal by annihilating Cal 69-33, the fewest points the Wildcats have ever allowed in a Pac-12 game.
Stanford (1), UCLA (9) and Oregon (11) are also ranked in the AP Top 25, while Arizona State and Washington State are receiving votes.
The Wildcats (8-1, 6-1 Pac-12) return to the court Friday when they begin the Washington road trip at UW, where Adia Barnes coached and Aari McDonald played before making the move to Tucson.
