Arizona doesn’t receive any votes in first AP Top 25 poll

Arizona isn’t on anyone’s radar heading into the new college basketball season.

The Wildcats did not receive a single vote from 65 media members in the first AP Top 25 poll that was released Monday. Four other Pac-12 teams did and three are in the Top 25, with Arizona State (18) leading the way and Oregon (20) and UCLA (22) following closely behind.

The Stanford Cardinal received the eighth-most votes among teams outside the Top 25.

This shouldn’t come as a huge surprise as the Wildcats are a huge mystery after adding 10 newcomers—six of whom hail from different countries—and losing 85.
