Arizona basketball: University not commenting on Allonzo Trier situation due to privacy concerns

Prior to the start of the 2016-17 Arizona Wildcats season, ESPN’s Andy Katz caught up with Arizona Athletic Director Greg Byrne.

Katz asked Byrne about the Allonzo Trier situation, and Arizona’s AD gave a little more on the reason there has not been a public comment to this point from anyone.

Allonzo Trier's status remains unchanged. Arizona AD Greg Byrne said due to privacy concerns, the university will have no comment. Trier was pulled from Pac-12 media day and wasn't in uniform for either exhibition game.
