The Arizona Wildcats are one of eight teams that will participate in the 2022 Maui Invitational, it was announced Thursday. The tournament runs from November 21-23, 2022 at the Lahaina Civic Center.
It will mark Arizona’s eighth time playing in the Maui Invitational, their other appearances coming in 1993, 1997, 2000, 2005, 2009, 2014 and 2018.
Arizona is 14-8 all-time in the Maui Invitational, including championships in 2000 and 2014.
The rest of the field looks like this. Their 2020-21 KenPom ratings are in parentheses, thought they don’t mean much since we’re talking about a tournament that is two seasons away.
