Arizona basketball to face Wichita State in Roman Main Event in Las Vegas

The last time Arizona faced Wichita State, the Wildcats were bounced from the NCAA Tournament early and Sean Miller’s sweat glands became a meme.

The Wildcats will face the Shockers in the opening round of the Roman Main Event in Las Vegas. The game is set for 8 p.m. MT on Friday, Nov. 19 and will be played at T-Mobile Arena.

Michigan and UNLV will face off at 10:30 p.m. MT in the other game, with the winners playing Nov. 21 at 5:30 p.m. MT and the losers meeting at 8 p.m. MT.

Wichita is coming off a 16-6 season under coach Isaac Brown, who is now the Shockers’ permanent head coach after serving the 2020-21 campaign in an interim role.
