The Washington Huskies beat Arizona State late Thursday in a long, almost three hour overtime game. They came out energetic and hit their shots early in Saturday afternoon’s game.
At the same time, the Wildcats continued to turn the ball over and miss shots. Washington and its crowd had a symbiotic relationship inspiring each other. It was loud, it was purple, and the situation didn’t look good for Arizona with the Wildcats down 12-4.
At that point, Kaleb Tarczewski put the ball in the basket, got fouled, and made a 3-point play. That was a game-changer.
