Arizona Basketball: Rawle Alkins working this summer, becoming a leader

Along with Arizona Basketball guard Rawle Alkins performance at the NBA Combine, Alkins also impressed in a couple of particular areas.

First, he out-jumped Oregon’s Jordan Bell at the NBA Combine with a Max Vertical Leap of 40.5 inches vs. 38.0 for PF Bell. Bell is impressing the NBA teams and is getting asked back to workout for teams like the Los Angeles Lakers. So Rawle should be able to impress the same way in this area. Shooting is also a huge piece of the workouts with NBA teams, Alkins is working on that as well.

Also, you may not know this, but Alkins also has one of the widest hands of any player who entered the combine and was measured (67 players total).
