Before Thursday, it had been 53 days since Kaleb Tarczewski last played in a game at McKale Center.
Some things that happened in that stretch:
• UA football coach Rich Rodriguez interviewed for the South Carolina job, won the New Mexico Bowl and fired three defense coaches.
• The Wildcats lost Elliott Pitts (personal reasons) and Allonzo Trier (injury), and both are still out.
• Oh, and the new Star Wars movie made nearly $2 billion at the worldwide box office.
One thing that didn’t change — Arizona’s home winning streak extended to 47 games, even in Tarczewski’s absence.
