Allonzo Trier was officially a game-time decision on whether he would play Saturday, but the UA freshman wing knew he would be playing after practicing Friday.
In a workout at the Huskies’ practice facility Friday afternoon, Trier went through full-contact drills for the first time since injuring his hand on Jan. 9 at USC. He was just a day short of the 4-6 week window UA had estimated he would need to return.
Afterward, Trier said, UA pretty much left it up to him if he wanted to play – and the answer to that question was a no-brainer.
