After Arizona routinely took care of Oregon State on Saturday night, using a patented late game burst to put an otherwise close game away, the PA announcer told the fans to stick around for a post-game ceremony.
It wasn’t exactly ceremonious — it was too short for that — but it was still special.
Sean Miller won his 300th game as a head coach, and UA athletic director Greg Byrne presented him with a game ball.
To the crowd, Byrne shouted, “I’m sure you’d all agree we want 300 or more at Arizona.”
“Becoming the coach at Arizona is the best gift that you can give,” Miller said at his postgame press conference.
