Nine games into the 2019-20 season and freshman Nico Mannion has lived up to all the hype so far and some. This past weekend in the Wooden Legacy Tournament he showed why he is one of the best in college basketball, not just as a freshman, but overall. He earned himself the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week for his performance, becoming the second Arizona Basketball player to win it. Zeke Nnaji was the first, winning it back-to-back.
For an 18-year-old, his level of maturity and how he has handled the spotlight has been remarkable.
