PULLMAN, Wash. – Arizona guard Kadeem Allen will not play against Washington State tonight after dislocating the pinky finger on his right (shooting) hand in practice earlier this week, UA spokesman Matt Ensor confirmed today.
Allen made the trip with the Wildcats to Washington State and is status is day-to-day, with a slight chance of playing Saturday against Washington. UA has not announced its starting lineup but junior Parker Jackson-Cartwright is likely to start in his place.
Allen suffered the injury when his finger caught in Jackson-Cartwright's jersey during practice Tuesday, according to UA athletic trainer Justin Kokoskie.
