When the Arizona Wildcats take the floor at McKale Center for the first time in 2016-17, they will be without both Kadeem Allen and Allonzo Trier.
Trier’s status with the team continues to be up in the air as questions about his eligibility continue to hover over like a dark cloud. Allen injured his knee towards the end of the Michigan State game, but powered through it to eventually make the game-winning basket.
Here is Arizona’s official statement on Allen’s injury:
Arizona senior guard Kadeem Allen will not play in tonight’s game versus Cal State Bakersfield due to a sprained left knee suffered in the Wildcats’ last game.
