With Tyler Ulis out on injury and all the Bulls playing up in the NBA due to major holes in the roster with Denzel Valentine, Lauri Markkanen, Bobby Portis and Kris Dunn (4-6 weeks) on the bench recuperating, former Arizona Basketball fan favorite Rawle Alkins stepped up on the road. The Windy City Bulls took on the Grand Rapids Drive (Detroit Pistons affiliate) in the third of four games on the road.
Windy City was in need of a win and an exciting game and they got both with Alkins at the helm.
