The Arizona Baseball team had a pretty successful weekend, beating conference rival Stanford twice in a three-game series.
In what has been an up and down season for first-year Head Coach Jay Johnson and the Wildcats, the Arizona Baseball team took to Hi-Corbett Field this weekend with visiting Stanford in town.
The Wildcats had a successful first two games, dispatching a talented Cardinal team. Strong pitching and timely hitting helped Arizona to the 4-1 victory in both games respectively. On Sunday, Arizona looked for the sweep, but their efforts came up short.
