The temperature wasn’t the only thing that was hot Saturday afternoon in Tucson.
The Arizona Wildcats launched themselves to a 25-3 victory against the Hartford Hawks Saturday afternoon with an offensive effort that was downright unbelievable.
But their defense, especially their pitching, allowed for the team to build such a massive lead.
Much like their matchup on Friday, the Wildcats let the Hawks get on the board first. Arizona’s starting pitcher, sophomore Michael Flynn, appeared just a bit shaky as he saw two runs scored (one earned and one unearned) in the first inning.
