After a storm of “biblical-proportions” postponed Saturday night’s Arizona baseball game in the middle of the second inning, the Wildcats eventually defeated the USC Trojans 8-5 when play resumed Sunday afternoon at Hi Corbett Field.
The second game of a weekend series between the two schools resumed with Arizona trailing 3-1, and the Wildcats (24-24, 12-14 Pac-12) used a solid pitching performance from Quinn Flanagan and yet another big offensive output to outscore USC 7-2 on Sunday to claim their second straight victory over the Trojans
