There will be no capacity limits at Arizona Wildcats sporting events this season, but fans will still have to abide by the UA’s campus-wide COVID-19 guidelines, athletic director Dave Heeke said Wednesday.
Those are always subject to change as local case numbers change, but right now that means masks will be required for indoor events—such as basketball or volleyball games in McKale Center—when maintaining physical distance is not possible. Same goes for indoor spaces at outdoor events, like the press box at Arizona Stadium.
Fans will not be required to be vaccinated. A state-wide mandate has banned Arizona’s public universities from requiring students and employees to be vaccinated.
