The Arizona Wildcats had their first COVID scare of the season Monday when Jason Terry’s daily test yielded an inconclusive result. However, the follow-up test on Tuesday confirmed he is negative, according to Bruce Pascoe of the Arizona Daily Star.
The first-year assistant coach was not on the bench for Monday’s win over NAU, but now should be good to return to coaching on Wednesday against Cal State Bakersfield.
Not only that, but Arizona no longer has to worry about contact tracing that could have resulted in other players and staffers being sidelined if they were in close contact with Terry.
