Seth Mejias-Brean had a day to remember against the team from his home state.
Former Arizona Wildcats star Seth Mejias-Brean clubbed a walk-off homer in the 10th inning to propel the San Diego Padres to a 6-4 win over the Diamondbacks on Sunday.
It capped a stellar game for the Tucson native, who had three hits, including the game-tying RBI single in the sixth. His two-run homer was the second long ball of his major-league career.
The 28-year-old was called up by the Padres in the month, his first time in the Big Leagues after 914 games in the minor leagues.
