Former Arizona Wildcats guard Allonzo Trier was selected with the No. 4 pick in the NBA G League Draft on Monday. He was taken by the Iowa Wolves, the G League affiliate of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Fellow former UA guard Brandon Williams went undrafted. There were only 25 picks since roster spots are at a premium since only 17 teams are participating in the 2020-21 G League season, which is set to begin Feb. 6 at the Disney campus in Orlando.
The schedule will consist of 12 and 15 games, not including the postseason.
