Allonzo Trier on fire since the All-Star break

Well, think again. To him, those don’t exist.

“That’s like a fairy tale,’’ Trier said (via the New York Post). “A myth to me.’’

The numbers bear that out. The New York Knicks guard has been on fire since the All-Star break, averaging 19.7 points per game. The best part? His efficiency. Trier is shooting .547/.556/.810 in his last six games, scoring 114 points on 64 field goal attempts.

Since the All-Star break, Trier has, incredibly, scored:
114 points on just 64 FG attempts

To put that in context,
Jimmy Butler has scored 85 points on 75 FG attempts
Paul George has scored 84 points on 74 FG attempts
Jayson Tatum has scored 76 points on 71 FG attempts— Tommy Beer (@TommyBeer) March 5, 2019

The former Arizona Wildcat has crossed the 20-point threshold three times in those six games, including a 29-point outing against the Sacramento Kings on Monday.
