Allonzo Trier named Pac-12 Player of the Week

After combining for 62 points in the Arizona Wildcats’ first two games of the season, junior guard Allonzo Trier has been named Pac-12 Player of the Week, it was announced Monday.

Trier scored a career-high 32 points against NAU in the UA’s season-opener, then scored 30 points against UMBC on Sunday.

The Seattle native is 20-31 from the field, 7-14 from 3, and 15-18 from the free throw line this year.

Trier became just seventh player in Arizona history to score 30 points or more in consecutive games, and the second player in program history to score 30 points or more in the first two games of a season.
