By agreeing to a four-year contract worth $84 million, Aaron Gordon will become the highest-paid ex-Arizona player in the NBA.
And he's still only 22.
That means Gordon will be 26 when he's next available on the market, since there are reportedly no options structured into this deal. So he could have prime leverage at that point to command a max deal if he continues to improve.
Gordon already is coming off the best year of his four-year NBA career, since leaving Arizona in 2014 as the No. 4 overall pick in the NBA Draft.
