The Arizona Wildcats added offensive lineman to their 2022 class on Tuesday, landing a commitment from Jonah Savaiinaea out of St. Louis School in Honolulu, Hawaii.
The 6-foot-3, 330 pound guard/center picked Arizona over offers from Arizona State, Hawaii, San Diego State, Syracuse, UNLV and UCF. The Wildcats offered Savaiinaea on June 15 and he officially visited the UA on the weekend of June 18.
Savaiinaea is ranked as the No. 1,136 players and No. 68 interior lineman in the country, per 247Sports. He’s Arizona’s eighth 2022 commit and second offensive lineman in the class, joining three-star Grayson Stovall from Chandler’s Hamilton High.
