Just one former Arizona high school or college basketball player was picked in the 2019 NBA draft.
2020 could prove much more fruitful for the state, according to early NBA mock drafts for next season.
Former Paradise Valley standout Nico Mannion, former Glendale Mountain Ridge standout Josh Green, former Gilbert Perry standout Markus Howard and ASU's Rob Edwards all find their names in early mock draft projections for next season.
Mannion and Green, who are both enrolled at Arizona, are expected to be first-round picks.
Howard, who plays at Marquette, and Edwards show up as second-round projections.
