TEMPE, Ariz. – After yet another record-breaking night in Boulder on Saturday, senior place kicker Zane Gonzalez earned Pac-12 Special Teams Player of the Week honors for the fourth-time in the 2016 season.
The fourth Pac-12 Player of the Week honor for Gonzalez in 2016 sets a new ASU single-season record, passing Thomas Weber's 2007 mark of three recognitions. The honor also marks the sixth career recognition for Gonzalez and is ASU's seventh Pac-12 Player of the Week recognition in the 2016 campaign, just two back of the program-best eight Pac-12 recognitions received in 1996.
