TEMPE – Sun Devil Wrestling held their annual Maroon and Gold scrimmage at Desert Financial Arena on Friday night. Results were not officially recorded but various players collected victories to commence the 2024-25 season.
There were a total of 10 duels in tonight's showcase, starting with the lightweight match between #1 ranked Richard Figueroa and Damian Moreno where Figueroa came out on top 20-4. #11 ranked Jesse Vasquez earned a tough fought 4-2 win over Mykey Ramos. A 184 weight class match between Aziz Fayzullaev and Shay Addison ended with Aziz Fayzallaev taking the match-up 10-4.
