Let's be honest: Five-star prospects usually land 100 miles down the road at the basketball factory in Tucson. Luguentz Dort, an aggressive guard from Canada, is different.
He chose Arizona State.
Dort is expected to sign with the Sun Devils on Wednesday, the first day of the early signing period. He'll become the third five-star prospect to sign with the Sun Devils over the past decade, joining James Harden and Keala King.
Dort grew up in Montreal North playing goalie on soccer fields, but as he grew, his basketball skills flourished. He played in Canada his freshman season but left to find better competition in Florida.
