The Sun Devil men's basketball staff has signed the No. 2 junior college player in the nation.
Khalid Thomas, a 6-9 forward out of the College of Southern Idaho who graduated from West Linn High School in Oregon, will wear the maroon and gold next year, giving the Sun Devils the nation's top-ranked junior college class. He averaged 14.7 points (.548 field goal percentage and .414 three-point percentage) and 6.5 rebounds per game during his freshman campaign.
CSI finished second at the 2018 NJCAA National Tournament, falling to South Plains 98-95 in the championship game as Thomas had 20 points, seven boards and four steals as the Golden Eagles finished 31-6.
