BALTIMORE – The Sun Devil women's basketball team dropped its first true road game of the season, falling to Coppin State 74-68 in overtime on Thursday.
Jalyn Brown led the Sun Devils (4-4) with 17 points to go with six rebounds and three assists. Tyi Skinner added 14 points and Nevaeh Parkinson just missed a double-double, scoring nine points and grabbing a team-high 10 rebounds. Parkinson, who scored a career-high 26 points in ASU's prior contest vs. South Dakota at the Music City Classic, knocked down the second 3-pointer of her career in the game.
