TEMPE, ARIZ.-- Arizona State water polo picked up a stunning 8-6 upset victory over No. 2 UCLA (7-2, 5-2) off of a three goal performance from senior defender Bente Rogge. The Sun Devils jumped out on an early lead and did not give the Bruins the opportunity to come back late in the game. ASU is now 6-3 in MPSF conference play, and 12-6 on the season.
In the program's 2nd all-time win over UCLA, ASU defensively drew 11 exclusions, including four penalty fouls as the Sun Devils held UCLA to their lowest scoring game of the season.
