TEMPE, Ariz. – No. 9 Sun Devil Water Polo (14-11, 2-5) heads to Los Angeles this weekend as the 5 seed in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Conference Championship Tournament. They will face the 4 seeded, and No. 6 ranked, California Golden Bears (15-4, 3-3) in the first round, Friday April 22 at 2:30 pm. The game can be watched via a paid subscription with MPSF TV.
ASU is no stranger to facing California in the MPSF Tournament after last season's 12-8 win over the then 4 seed Golden Bears. In that win, Chelsea Karimazondo tallied 19 saves which was the fourth most single-game saves by a Sun Devil in program history.
