NEW ORLEANS - Arizona State's very own Jorinde van Klinken and Turner Washington are currently on the watch list for The Bowerman for the indoor track and field season. The Bowerman is the highest honor a track and field athlete can receive from the NCAA. Washington was a finalist for the award last year, while van Klinken was a semifinalist. Washington is third in the shot put, and van Klinken comes in at second. Since 2010, Arizona State has had four finalists for the Bowerman trophy: Ryan Whiting in 2010, Maggie Ewen in 2017 and 2018, and Washington in 2021.
