TEMPE, Ariz. – Freshman Attacker was named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Newcomer of the Week for the second time this season after her 22 point record-setting weekend at the second Arizona State Invitational. She led the Sun Devils to a 3-0 record at home this weekend, good for the team's seventh straight win at home.
In totality, Vanda Baksa again had a 22 (10G-12A) point weekend in ASU's three wins at home. On Friday, she notched three goals and one assist, good for four points and sole possession of all-time points for a freshman with 84 points— a record that had not been touched since Rowie Webster set it in 2006.
