NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana - After defending her NCAA discus crown and winning silver in the shot put, Jorinde van Klinken is once again a semifinalist for the highest honor in collegiate track and field. The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced van Klinken as one of 10 semifinalists for The Bowerman today. Van Klinken was a semifinalist for the same award last year after winning gold in the discus, bronze in the indoor shot put, and taking the world discus lead. In 2022, she won the indoor shot, took silver in the outdoor shot, and defended her discus crown.
