AUSTIN, Texas – Anthony Valencia of Sun Devil Wrestling and Ilze Hattingh of Sun Devil Women's Tennis both earned CoSIDA Academic All-America At-Large honors, with Valencia making it on the first team and Hattingh earning a third team nod.
Both Valencia and Hattingh had a 4.0 cumulative GPA after graduating with a bachelor's degree in business (communication) and parks and recreation management, respectively. Valencia also earned a master's in film and media studies. For both programs, they are the first CoSIDA Academic All-American since 2003. This is the second in wrestling's history and the third in program history for women's tennis.
