The University of Connecticut men’s basketball team had a rather disappointing season in 2014-15. The team went 17-13 in the regular season and were hit with the sixth seed in the American Athletic Conference tournament. The team advanced to the championship game before falling to SMU. To make matters worse, the team was a seven seed in the NIT and lost to Arizona State in the first round.
On Tuesday, the team announced its non-conference schedule for the 2015-16 season and there are some pretty notable games on the docket.
According to Uconnhuskies.com, the team opens the season with a pair of exhibition games against Tampa and New Haven.
